Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir celebrated the Govardhan Puja festival yesterday.
The celebrations began with a grand annakoot offering to the Deities of Sri Radha Vrindavanchandra in the evening. The annakoot offering was made of delicious foodstuffs like halwa, rice, sweets, savoury snacks, and more.
Later, gopala puja and gau puja were conducted in the Gaushala, and the cows and calves in the Gaushala were fed sumptuously.
The devotees sang a special song for the festive occasion called Govardhanashtakam.
The festival also included damodar arati, the offering of lamps, pallaki utsav, and distribution of prasadam for all the participants.
