Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir joyfully celebrated the auspicious festivals of Panihati Chida-Dahi Mahotsav and Nauka Vihar Utsav, bringing together devotees in a vibrant celebration of devotion, remembrance, and spiritual bliss.
The festivities commenced in the morning with a beautiful Mango Alankara, where Their Lordships were adorned with a delightful seasonal decoration, followed by an elaborate Chappan Bhog offering featuring a grand array of preparations lovingly presented for Their pleasure.
As evening descended, the celebrations continued with a majestic Pallaki procession, carrying the Utsavar Deities of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai to the temple Sarovar amidst the joyful chanting of the Holy Names. The altar then opened for an exquisite Panchamrita Abhisheka and Pushpa Abhisheka, as devotees offered prayers and flowers with deep devotion.
A spiritually enriching festival discourse by Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa, President of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, illuminated the significance of the sacred Panihati Chida-Dahi Festival, recounting its timeless message of humility, devotion, and the mercy of Sri Nityananda Prabhu.
The highlight of the evening was the enchanting Nauka Vihar Utsav, where Their Lordships gracefully glided across the serene temple Sarovar in a beautifully decorated boat. Accompanied by melodious bhajans, flower offerings, and the heartfelt participation of devotees, the divine boat festival recreated one of the cherished devotional pastimes celebrated in the Vaishnava tradition.
Adding to the joy of the occasion, Chida-Dahi Mahaprasadam was lovingly distributed directly from the boat to all assembled devotees, allowing everyone to participate in the spirit of the Panihati festival.
We offer our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors, patrons, volunteers, and devotees whose unwavering support and service made this divine celebration a memorable success. May the blessings of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai continue to inspire us all on the path of devotion and selfless service.
