"O Keshava! O Lord of the universe! O Lord Hari, who have assumed the form of half-man, half-lion! All glories to You! Just as one can easily crush a wasp between one's fingernails, so in the same way, the body of the wasp-like demon Hiranyakashipu has been ripped apart by the wonderful pointed nails on Your beautiful lotus hands."

Lord Narasimha appeared to save Prahlada Maharaja, who was five-year-old boy and was being tortured by his atheistic father, Hiranyakasipu. Who had taken benediction from Lord Brahma that he would not be killed by any man, animal, demigod, demon, any created being living or non-living nor in the sky or ground, inside or outside, daytime or nightime or any weapons. But the Lord is so cunning that He kept intact all the benediction given by Brahma and still killed him. He killed him in the evening, just at the junction of day and night, on His lap which was neither sky nor land, at the doorway which was neither inside nor outside. The Lord appeared neither man nor animal and he was killed by the nails, which is not a created weapon either living or dead.

Along with participating in the havan online you also have an opportunity to contribute to Mandir Nirman Seva, Gau Seva, and Sadhu Annadan Seva in our temple, bringing boundless blessings upon yourself and your family.
