Jaya Ekadashi, Varaha Dwadashi & Nityanada Trayodashi
A gateway to reach new heights of devotion
Ekadashi is the 11th Tithi in the Hindu calendar. Two Ekadashis come monthly, one during Shukla Paksha (Full Moon Phase) and another during Krishna Paksha (New Moon Phase). It is the favourite tithi of the Lord. Observing fast on this day is supremely auspicious for our devotional life. By chanting the holy names of Lord Krishna and reading scriptures on Ekadashi, one attracts the divine protection and blessings of Lord Krishna.
Varaha Dwadashi is the day on which Lord Varaha incarnated to rid this world of the great demon Hiranyaksha and pickup mother earth from the netherworld, deep in the ocean, and put her back in her orbit.
Nityanada Trayodashi is when Lord Nityananda, the adi guru, an expansion of Lord Balarama, descended on this earth to spread the message of bhakti and freely distribute Love of God to all suffering souls. He is indeed the most munificent and essence of all incarnations of God.
Performing bhakti on these special occasions are shortcut way to progress very rapidly on our journey back to Godhead. You are invited to celebrate this special occasion by participating in a variety of sevas - Havan Seva, Gau Seva, Annadan Seva, and Mandir Nirman Seva for the pleasure of the Lord.
